Why do Atheists call Christians "trolls" when they can't argue with them?

I've noticed that many Atheists, instead of actually thinking to reply to Christians, just simply call them "trolls" to avoid argument. This shows a real weakness on the Atheists' parts. Why do they do that? I had always been wondering, and it seems that Atheists can only make fun of God and His followers and never be able to make any substantial arguments. Atheists, I thought you were the ones who were "smarter" than us; so why not try to make a coherent argument against God instead of calling His followers dirty names like "trolls" and "liars" and so on?
 
im a christian 1st off. and only poser atheists do that. true atheist dont call christians names, in fact they are really kind and wouldnt even get in any arguement.. i have met many true atheists and they were very spiritual people they just didnt believe in god..
 
It's not just atheists, it's Christians too. I can't believe people can be so rude and hateful to each other.
If a question offends, just don't answer it. Sooner or later, perhaps the bickering and name-calling will stop. Every Christian's or atheist's questions seem to end up with senseless words being flung back and forth in anger.
Neither of us has the right to do that. And that's not saying you are right. Questions like yours fuel the flames for more bickering.
 
Uh, you begin by saying "many atheists" but then end up accusing ALL atheists of only making fund of God.

It's a lie that we have no substantial arguments for our atheism.

I've never known anyone who says all atheists are smarter than all believers.

We HAVE made coherent cases against believe. That you refuse to listen to or read any of them isn't the fault of atheists.

But the burden of proof is on those who say their IS an impossible being.

As we can see, complexity is something that emerges, as is consciousness. Supposing it "just exists" with no cause is absurd. Add to this the fact that there is no credible evidence of any such thing, and it's more reasonable not to believe, than to believe.

Now, stop telling lies about atheists.
 
Err...that means that you said something so stupid that we figure it is someone impersonating a Christian to make fun of them. Sorry, it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.
 
As someone who has spent time in atheist and Christian forums I'd say that both groups complain about each other and use the term "troll". If it's a humanist forum (for atheists) they want to chat about humanism not battle with a Christian. The same goes for Christians in a Christian forum, they don't want to battle an atheist there. But Yahoo Answers is probably fair game for everybody, so no "trolls" here", lol
 
Simply put, the ones who just say trolls are looking for laughs and giggles and have nothing better to do.

Those Atheists are a poor representation and you should not base your judgments on them.

Also they're probably newfag /b/tards. Don't concern yourself with them.
 
Because some of them are trolls who ask the same question over and over again or make comments with no real relevancy.

Since you guys have all the answers in your book, why do you call US trolls when you can't argue with us?
 
People are always suspect of a level 1 or level 2 person who asks inflammatory questions. However, I also see a lot of name calling on the part of some Christians.
 
"Troll" is a term used for someone that asks a inflammatory question. It is also used when the question is really off in someway or designed to make some system look bad.

So far, I have never seen a question from Christians or Muslims that atheists can not easily refute or that have note been refuted thousands of times.

Creationists, like the DI or Dr. Dino, should be called liars as that is exactly what they are. Sorry if the truth hurts.
 
Most people are called trolls when they submit an extraordinarily ignorant / stupid argument that is so obviously pathetic and wrong/flawed that it doesn't need rebuttal from us. If a person posting a question is called a troll, when they aren't, then that's pretty bad.

If I were a Christian, I would hope these people were actually trolls, because they don't help out your image.
 
You are obviously one of those blinkered people who don't bother to read the very detailed answers that many atheist provide.

We call people trolls when they are only saying something (or asking it) if they wish to piss people off. If you want to have a debate my email is open, give me your arguments and I'd be more than happy to give my counter arguments.
