Why do Americans whine so much about wars and yet not give a crap about others?

I hear this sh!t all the time. Oh all the horrors of vietnam, and the draft. Wtf the draft is nuthin!!!! You have to have one for a war cuz no one actually enjoys and wants to go to war. Never in my history books do they ever mention anything other than D day and pearl harbor!!! WHat about the siege of Leningrad!!?!?!? Over a million people died of starvation and yet whenever i ask people what that was they dont know!!! Very annoying. I could rant on for hours but i dont have the time to cuz i gota get my HW finished (AHHHH law school). So your thoughts
 
how thick do you want school text books to be?

Anyways... every school has a library. Nobody is stopping anybody from researching these things in the library.
