Why do american trolls rage against sicilians so much?

I am always on the point of laugh everytime I see them throw up on sicilians nazi things about skin and race and Moors showing all their ignorance without shame.
Make me laugh another time, come on, idiots!
 
People are a lot different on yahoo answers than real life. I've read so much anti American stuff on here and it sucks but I just stopped reading it because it doesn't matter. I don't know anyone who hates Sicily. In fact everyone wants to say they're Italian or Sicilian. So it seems like you're being the rude one here.
 
There are very few Sicilians in total, so there is a small chance of them meeting a Sicilian in real life, and there is a perception that the Mafia is a Sicilian concept as the only idea most Americans have about them, so since they aren't afraid of the Mafia Sicilians seem a good target. If you were forced to choose a target of racism, wouldn't it be better if you chose such a small minority it was unlikely it would ever matter?
