Why do a lot of dogs chase cars?

What do they honestly expect to actually "DO" with cars once they catch up to them?

well, i think it's because dog's naturally like to chase things! once they catch up to them--- they probably try to get inside the window or just bark!

it's funny huh? when you have a dog inside a car--all they do is bark and try to get out - yet when their not in the car, they bark and try to get in!

dogs chase cars because its a game.. they have an instinct to chase after things, and in the dog's mind, the car is running from them.
