Why did you get the console you have right now?

Ok first of all, the 360 CANT do 1080p, maximum it can do with its current hardware is 1080i.

Secondly, I dont give a flying fuck about the 360 or the PS3.

Im a Nintendo fan through and through, I couldnt give a shit about the graphics technology, I have a PC for christ sake.
 
I get whatever console that has games that interest me. I got my PS2 for GTA and GT only. This time around not a single launch title on the PS3 has me interested. XBOX 360, Dead Rising was going to be the reason for me to buy it but it turns out it gets boring too fast for me to spend $500. SO far GoW is the only game to make me want to buy a 360, but again not good enough. So that left the Wii, which I wasnt very hyped for ( I had my hopes set really high for PS3) but it turned out to be cooler and cooler, with Zelda a release title, and a few neat games to follow up it was a pretty easy choice.
 
i bought the Wii cause I wanted to play new zelda.

turns out I like wii sports and monkey ball a whole lot.

also girlfriend loves it.
 
I played it at wal-mart, not sure if it was the unit or what but there was a lag between when I hit the buttons and it registered on the screen, I set the Guitar back down and walked away.
 
Definitely the unit...that demo guitar gets hammered by people all day, or the screen sucked. Mine definitely does not do that because if what happened to you happened to me I would not have purchased, let alone kept my PS2/Guitar Hero.
 
that patch was released like a month ago, it did add 1080p, I cant use it though because my TV only supports 1080i right now. That 40" Samsung 1080p LCD HDTV is looking damn sexy right now though.
 
I figured that was it but you know how it goes. I'm 100% satisified with my Wii though, I'm selling my PS2 and possibly my Sega.
 
My 360 was sort of an impulse buy, I was looking at some ps3 videos and being such wonderful advertisements for the console I decided to go for a 360, especially after looking at some gears of war videos. I am glad, I love it =]
 
For once can't you fanboys all get along? It's getting really pathetic.




I bought the Wii because the controller intrigued me. And it was worth every penny
