Where I live,there is a flashing beacon that warns drivers there's a traffic light(red yellow green)ahead.This used to be the first signal light coming into town,but there are 2 more signals before the original signal. Even after the new signals were set up,the flashing signal for what used to be the first traffic signal coming into town was still flashing for a while then they turned it off.
Why did they turn off the flashing beacons?
