Where ever the POTUS is, so is his office. Whether he's on the golf course, cutting brush, getting drunk & laid at Martha's Vinyard, he's still on duty.
Who cares about Obama's trip. He shouldn't have gone but I don't care that he did. He was trying to get some economic recovery for Chicago. It would have cost the rest of the country millions of tax money but it would have helped Chicago.

President's never take vacations and neither does a senior executive. They are always connected and always informed. How they handle and prioritize that information is a different story.
I believe Obama could have sent a video. I don't want to hear this chump whining about greenhouse gases after this unnecessary stunt.
