If you are trying to incorporate hyperbole into your argument, then you are doing it all wrong!

You need to say "gas will go up 2 or 3 million dollars", that way maybe you can put even more people into a panic. Because the current argument ain't working.

That is unlikely. In fact, if cap and trade REDUCES the demand for fossil fuels that would be a factor that would drive down prices.
