...better to let the free? markets work on their own and let the economy collapse under its own weight?
Sure, a lot of people would have starved and thousands of business gone bankrupt but isn't this the free market at work? Unemployment would proably have hit 75% but wouldn't have been worth it to make sure that Socialism does not invade our country?
Isn't Darwinism still the law of the jungle? The strong would have survived and the weak would perish.
