My truck sat for 4 months at a friends house, it was driven just a couple of times. It has 74,000 miles on it. When i let him take my truck it ran perfect, i never had a problem with it. He says my airbag light stays on now, and also the steering went stiff like it needs power steering fluid. Says he took it out and drove it to loosen it up but its still hard to steer. This doesnt make sense to me. I had the truck brand new for 6 years this november and never had any engine or running problems. He also told me he started it everyday. Can someone tell me if they think he tampered with it?
Im serious when i say my truck was in perfect running condition. Do you think he stole the airbag and thats why the light came on and stays on? Its really odd that i drove it 5 1/2 yrs and it ran and drove perfect? Does anyone have any ideas please.......Thanks
well thats my question....could letting it sit for 4 months make the steering go out? Yes i did drive it everyday, but he also started it and drove it a lil, it didnt sit without running for 4 months. And why is he telling me my driver side airbag doesnt work cause the lights staying on. Can someone tell me how to tell if they took the airbag out? I heard people sell them for money....i dunno Im just trying to understand why it went from a perfect truck to a POS!
