I am a 31 year old virgin and just had my first pelvic exam/pap test. The doctor told me I should because of my age. It didn't hurt at all when the speculum was inserted or when she scraped my cervix, but it hurt extremely bad when she opened the speculum! It felt like she was trying to push a large fetus upwards or something! I told her it hurt so she'd stop, but she ignored me and continued.
I had a little bleeding afterwards too. Other people told me they only had mild discomfort, so why did
