why did my koi die i think my other fish?

What was the blue fish? Not knowing what you have is one of the prime reason fish die. The owner has no idea of what they have or how to take care of it. By blue, i almost think you got a african cichlid..or a betta. But abetta wouldn't have been able to kill a kio..It would of been the other way around. what ever you had, it didn't belong with a koi fish. Kois are related to goldfish and should be with their own..not mixed with tropicals. Tell us what the blue fish was and maybe we can tell you more.
 
I just got a new tank and did all the requirements for it. I got a blue fish and a koi. the blue fish would kind of nip the koi, we had him for almost a week. now he is dead.

Do you know what type of fish the blue fish was? What did it look like? And even if it was a betta, the betta wouldn't have nipped or killed your koi. Bettas, though aggressive to other anabantoids, are peaceful community fish.
