Why did my doctor tell me this?

"Gastritis does not cause any symptoms".

I have been having bloating, constipation, getting full easy, loss appetite, and sever fatigue and he is just about 100% certain based on what I have been telling him, that stress is causing these symtoms.

I do have severe anxiety and othery psycological issues.

Everywhere I read on the internet, my symptoms point to gastrits.

He says I can have an endoscopy, but is certain it won't show anything.
 
Gastritis is painful. One of our cricketers was in India and had gastritis he thought he was going to have a heart attack. You can have burning, bloating, pains in the chest and just feel awful. Doctors don't always get it right, sometimes their empathy skills are lacking or they have little or no experience with the condition they're seeing.
 
gastritis causes lots of issues i have stomach burning, and neasuea mostly....my natropath has helped me thou as he gave me licorice root, marshmallow root, zinc and slippery elm and healed my gastrits but now i have been swaped to generec losec and its not working to well yet!! im freaking that it wont work........
oh doctors dont no all the stuff of gastrits my specilist said gastritis sosnt cause burning yeah right i had it i no it does!!!!
 
Gastritis does cause lots of symtoms, your doctor is an idiot, how can a medical condition not cause any symtoms, I tell ya he's lucky he's not my doctor, I have heartburn, bloating, nausea, most of all chest pain and spasms. I am asthmatic have fybromyalgia and I find Gastritis just as upseting as these. Keep the chin up and go to another doctor is my advice.
 
Some Dr's should learn how to use google :)

Is hard to find a good Dr, but they are out there.
 
Well, kevinla, I think your Dr. is full of crap! My son has had gastritus for four years and he has gone through some pretty horrible pain as well as terrible nausea. He is doing ok now, but not do to his Dr. who is also full of crap. I have him on an acid/alkaline diet and a digestive enzyme. All natural stuff, he will start taking soon a probiotic, and he drinks only alkaline water. All of this is natural, and THIS IS WHAT HAS HELPED HIM. His Dr. told me NOT to try these ridiculous natural remedies, cause she said those people are full of it! I was so upset by her tone, that I am not going back. I am not saying that all the natural remedies work, you have to find the ones that work for YOU.
