Everything was working fine until one day I was driving and the music just faded out and wouldn't come back. Then a few days later sound came back for about 5 seconds and faded out again, never coming back.
The CD player is still powered on and seems to be functioning normally, I can change between CD and radio modes just fine. I tried disconnecting the pin from the back and plugging it back in...no luck.
I believe there might be a problem with the amp, as I have all my speakers connected to it, including a 10" sub. It's an older Alpine amp, and the green power led lights up so it seems to have power. I'm not the greatest with audio systems but would prefer to fix this problem myself.
Any ideas what might be wrong and how it could be fixed?
