Why did my 06 Mazda 6 start losing power and blowing smoke out the exhaust...

...right after getting the oil changed? The power came and went like it wasn't getting gas or the clutch was going on, except it didn't stop doing it. Power kept going in and out.

At the same time blowing lots of smoke out the exhaust.
 
Dosn't sound right. Make sure that they removed the old oil. I know that sounds stupid, but it did happen to me long time ago. Ended up losing power and blowing oil. Check your oil plug. If it looks like it was never cracked open then thats your problem.
 
That dont sound right but it kinda of sounds like its blowing oil smoke out....Are you sure they didn't put too much oil in it....if so then they could have put to much weight on your rings and oil is getting down to the pistons causing it to smoke....the losing power would fit in to if you were talking about horsepower...
 
It's probably over filled and somehow you're burning oil too. Get a compression check on all the cylinders. Rings could be shot.
