WHy did Michelle Obama forget about military families?

In March she went to Fort Bragg to meet with military family members. She also spoke with members of community organizations in Fayetteville that provide support to soldiers and their families.

The tour at Fort Bragg, her office said, is part of her campaign as first lady to meet military spouses and learn about support services that are available to military families.

Last month she went on Pentagon radio to discuss military family issues, where she said that she would be the voice of the military families in the White House.

She has invited military spouses and their families to events in Washington, including having Shannon Kendall of Georgetown, Texas, and her husband, Maj. Ryan Kendall, an Iraq veteran, join her at President Obama's recent address to a joint session of Congress.

Meeting with military folks will be a big part of Michelle Obama's schedule for the remainder of her time as first lady, her staff says. And she has promised to report back to her husband regularly on what she learns. That will give military families a very powerful advocate in the court of public opinion and inside the White House.

Clearly, you haven't been paying attention. She has served our homeless veterans on several occasions, She has honored our troops during several speeches, she has visited with several military family groups, she has prepared care packages for our veterans, she has visited military hospitals. She's only one woman, dear. She can't save the world, but your lying to say she has done nothing.
