There was nothing to complain about.
But in retrospect, look at the sophistication of the internet then vs. now. Few had only AOL or some very simple dial up BBS then vs. HTML web pages and cell phone apps today.

Back then only talk radio and faxes could alert the people.

It has been a long time since have raised children . And it was at that time that I did have children at home .
To be honest at that time I did not even pay attention. I could not have children of my own and had just adopted my 14 year old Nephew and had two teenage step daughters .
