I traded in my 2004 Wrangler 4.0 I6 for a new Jeep Wrangler with the 3.7 V6. This is my 4th wrangler I have owned, and this has to be the worst engine they could of put in the wranglers. I was offroading with it, and it spun the rod bearings, and yes the oil was at the full mark and clean. Whats the point of making a recreational vehicle that can't even drive in the mud without blowing the rods out the block. My 3 previous wranglers I drove over 200,000 miles and offroaded all the time with them and never had any engine problems with them. Only this POS v6 they use now. So why did they discontinue the 4.0 I6?
