Why did Hitler declare war on the USA, and what would have happened had he not?

I my opinion Hitler made one of his biggest blunders by declaring war on the USA. I do not understand why he did this because it ruined all of his plans. I also wonder what would have happened had he not have declared war on the USA. Any ideas, or speculations?
 
He only declared war on USA because of japan, japan bombed Pearl harbor and USA declared war the next day then, Germany Declared war on us because Japan was one of there AXIS.

And im guessing if they wouldn't of declared war then USA would've declared war shortly on them, because of there allias Soviet Union, so nothing probaly would've went unchanged in history.
