I met this guy online in November 2010. He lives in another state though. But anyway, we had nice chats and stuff, and we flirted a lot back then. He's been doing his doctoral program so he gets very busy. Back then, I was a little bit inexperienced about relationships so maybe I acted a little bit clingy to him even though we haven't met in person. He has PTSD due to his military service, so he told me I gave him too much pressure and he told me that I would find a better guy, then we stopped talking to each other since December 2010. I moved on, dated some other guys in real life and stuff.
But this April, he started to talk to me again, and he apologized he was being mean to me before. Thought he was disappearing again because of not hearing from him in July, August, September, October, he initiated texting me again in November. We start keep in touch again, but this time, I just take things easy, I don't contact him unless he contacts me. He would ask me to send him pics of me, we exchange photos over the phone and flirt a bit sometimes. Now he told me he is coming to the city where I live for a weekend and he wants to see me.
I'm just a little bit confused why he contacted me again? Since we met online, and we don't have mutual friends and stuff. And he was the one who wanted to stop talking last year. Guys or ladies, any idea?
