So over 64% of the contributions went to democrats. Who is screaming the loudest over the AIG bonuses. Democrats! Are they hypocrites?

Nirv - I am just following your lead and the lead of others here on YA. I am sick and tired of democrats blaming republicans for everything. This just shows total incompentence by the democratic part. You promised change, we would have been better with McCain.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This was "swept under the rug" during the campaign. Even that schmuck Madoff contributed $$$$$$ to all Democrats!!

hypocritical and sick!

So you are upset that AIG's donations didn't give them carte blanche to continue to waste money after receiving such a huge bailout from the government? What are saying, that AIG didn't get their money's worth? Are you saying there should be more corruption in government?

The same reason Madoff gave them over $300,000. 85% of his donations went to Democrats. They are freaking frauds!

Those contributions were made before it was known that AIG was failing.

Would you rather the Dems allow AIG to take Bush's bail out money and do whatever they like with it, or to hold them accountable for use of our money? If we allowed the former, you'd be screaming that Dems were bought.

Dems are majority right now. Live with it, just as the rest of us had to live with the right wing majority for several years. Thank God the pendulum has swung back!

Those Republicans you meantioned are really Democrats. They lean more left than the rest of the Republicans. So really AIG paid all of it to the Democrats. Also Realize that McCain defeated himself by thinking he was not going to win. There was a better candidate for the Republican party, but we can't go back and change things. The only thing we can do is in 2010 is vote Republican so there is a balance in the house and the senate. This way there is not a tilt in the scales such that the other party has no say in the decision.

I don't think current information on a sitting president and congress can be posted enough times. They took donations to buy power. Now the dims, who have been in power for over 2 years, are in a conflict of interest squeeze. Bummer!

Bob, are you sick today ? So obsessed with Obama . You are asking same question again and again...LOL

Because they wanted to buy advertising.

What gets me is the absolute denial on the part of the left that this could possibly be an indicator of corruption. How much more obvious could it be?

Oh well, when you give government permission to confiscate property and pass it around, you have to expect that sometimes they'll give it to people you don't like, and also that a good portion of it will flow back into the campaign coffers.

So what if 64% of the employees donations went to Dems. Apparently they lean Democrat. Also, they probably realize the GOP was going to be out of favor. Everybody likes to back a winning team.

This is another fake controversy from the Right. If the donations showed a preference for the GOP...we wouldn't be hearing anything from these outraged Y!A users, would we?
