Why did Amp'd Mobile go out of business?

Amp'd Mobile basically because the people weren't paying their bill 
( at the end amp'd mobile had accumulated 25billion dollars in debt and couldn't pay their own bills! So amp'd filed for bank ruptcy protection to and try ed to get people to pay their bills but they didn't. Alltel was going thru the same thing. That is until Verizon Wireless bought Alltel earlier this year saying them from shutting down.
