Holocaust? Could not they know when Nazis deprived them of all rights and the started gassing them in thousands to run somewhere, or move into neighboring countries like Britain? Could not they just escape Germany by emmigating to USA or other countries? Could not they just hire ships with all their money to sail to Africa, UK or elsewhere away form Hitler?

Most countries have Immigration quotas, and they were also Anti-semitic too. So there was only so many place they were allowed to move. They went all over the world. However, you had to have money to do it. What about the ones who couldn't afford it? Some families could only afford to send one member. And it wasn't just Jews. What about Romani, ethnic poles, and Russians.

no...ppl started to turn them in wherever they saw them..and they had to were the star of david anywhere they went if they were cought without it they were killed.....in a camp usually if you got to close to the fence they would shoot you on the spot...it was really terrilble

There was mass emigration of Jews from Germany before World War II. And even more attempted emigration. It wasn't as simple as leaving Germany. Even the United States was not eager to take on Jewish refugees, and whole shiploads were refused entry to country after country, in some heartbreaking cases having to return back into the lion's den, back to Germany, because nobody would have them. The world turned its eyes as Hitler prepared the Final Solution.

Additionally, the majority of Jews killed in the Holocaust weren't German. They lived in other countries that only became subject to Germany's policies after being conquered, as in Poland, Lithuania, and the USSR, so their only warning was German tanks driving down their street.
