Is that "entertainment" these days
are the Jonas Brothers who squeal when they sing
wannabe Christina Aguilera Demi Lovato
why the hel! is she even a singer Selena Gomez
and annoying hillbilly Miley Cyrus

seriously this is what young talent is these days...it's pathetic...
every single person in my advanced choir are 10x more talented than these "entertainers"

Michael Jackson was the king of entertainment....the original...so damn!t if people want to talk about Michael let them talk...and you losers can discuss finding out Joe Jonas' e-mail address.

is talent not being able to sing, dance, or act?
haha the biggest celebs these kids have are those disney channel twins...

haha...most of you on here are probably 11-15

I feel bad for you guys...you got a raw deal

I feel blessed to have been a 90s kid if I were born 4-5 years later I'd be stuck listening to this crap

I got to listen to talented hot boy bands like N'Sunc and Backstreet Boys and 98 degrees, the Spice Girls, the original Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, the good rap songs growing up...oh well!
Oooh I made a typo wise-guy *N'Sync okay?

yeah R.Kelly was what I considered good R&B

Well, the world is going crazy in my opinion - look at all the wars being waged and fought for no reason at all, all the silly people whose existence for some reason we are suposed to celebrate (hence the term celebrities?), the spiralling rise in crimes.. I could go on for hours about the things that are just so WRONG, but no one cares.

To me, MJ and the Disney kids equal the same thing, mediocre..

I don't have strong hatred for either, but I am sick of seeing the celebrities forum flooded with questions ONLY about them..

Music these days has gone extremely downhill. I agree with you that Michael was extraordinarily talented yet half of the 'celebrities' these days are only famous because of their parents for example, or they somehow managed to get a contract. Miley Cyrus is a good example of this. Where has the emotion gone in the lyrics these days? Instead of doing decent songs like Michael did with Man in the Mirror (and more) they tend to write about love affairs, looks and other silly and minor things. I want to go back to the 80's!

i agree.

i am a 80's kid. at that time the success of an artist was determined by what people would buy or not and talent was extremely important for someone to be considered a star and loved by the audience an then sell records. Michael was the biggest of all them already at that time.

Nowadays they (the companies) pay to their artists be "loved" by people, that buy them without loving them or knowing their real talent.

If you put someone else in the place of any os these famous ones that are on media now, no one would find diference.

also a '90s kid :)

come to the UK you only hear that trash if you switch over to the disney channel :)

Agreed, most kids these days like the crappiest music ever.

@ghostmist: Are you serious? One thing Michael Jackson definitely wasn't was mediocre.

yea the 90's we're WAY better than the 2000's in music. i was born in '93 and i remember the music i used to hear as a kid gives me good memories.

Yeah i know :(
im only 14 but i don't like today's music i LOVE the 80s music! :)
i was born in the wrong decade :(

You took the words right out of my mouth! Couldn't agree with you more!
