I am all new to this cell phone stuff. I dont even know how to turn it on. It says to charge it for 24 hours in big bold letters and also says to call a number. Do i have to charge it and call the number. I really want to play with it. I dont want to hurt it though.

It is best to just let it fully charge (2hrs.) this way you get the most out of the battery.

be patient- charge the battery 24h at the first time. youz can play later a long time with your phone

Always charge your battery fully first time. If you just start playing with it and drain it first, then the battery's never going to be as efficient as it could've been.

The number your talking about is probably what you need to call to set up your phone to your network. You'll probably be put through to some person who works for the network your with. Just follow the instructions they give you and all will be fine :) .

follow the manual if it says 24hrs than do 24hrs u'll get the best outta ur battery that way most ppl screw up they're phones when they dont follow directions now u dont wanna be one of those ppl and go though all that trouble of get it fixed etc..

Yes, first charge is the longest one, and it's important not to stop it... My brother's cell phone shows low battery often becouse power went off while his cell phone was charging.

Even with the newest of batteries, you must still give them a 100% complete charge the first time. It may not require a full 24 hour period, but at least 12-14 hours (however 24 hours is recommended by most manufacturers). This is due to the chemicals in the battery and the reactions of those chemicals during their first charge. The initial charge will directly affect the capacity of the battery. Not fully charging the first time can lead to the battery prematurely going bad or giving less and less talk time/standby time.

From personal experience, I haven't noticed much of a decrease in battery life from a 12 hour charge vs a 24 hour charge. But batteries I have only given a 3 or 4 hour charge initially have had a 30-40% decrease in capacity over the course of about 6 months.

24 hours it is not much? when the normal thing in the batteries is 8 hours if the shipper is not fast…

Only 8-10 hours the first time is fine

this recovers the battery from all the time that is useless

with some batteries if u dont fully charge it can set a charge memory its always good to fully charge occasionally
