Why can't we fix the economy then take care of Health, Education, and Energy?

Obama wants to do it all in one step. I feel the economy issue should be the number one concern, he is using all the money we don't have to embark in all the new programs, wouldn't this just backfire and cause a worst turnaround for the economy?
I understand that Bash, but now is not the time it is going to kill the US economy and fast. I will accept 1 venture like Energy...but all three we are talking Trillions...we are already in the hole!

It is not Health, Education and Energy, that he who is the Obama, is seeking to enlighten us with. That is a misunderstanding that HE, that is the Obama, has deemed forgivable if he receives the praise due the HEE that is the Obama
Rather than Health Education and Energy - we are to focus all of our beings upon HEE, meaning the HEE that is the OBAMA.

BO knows he has limited time left in office. He knows his popularity rates will drop; therefore, he's ramming as much as he can down our collective throats to further his socialist agenda. Furthermore, BO has not and will not prove he's an American citizen of natural birth. This just blows me away given the fact we ARE a Constitutional nation and should follow it's laws and amendments and bills. Isn't this why we have the most high Supreme Court?

Have you ever heard any prior president state that healthcare in this country is bankrupting us? Nooooo. BO thinks the US should go green and if we don't and remain on fossil fuels, he will "bankrupt those industries"? By that he means tax the ever luvin' stuffing out of them.

Fixing the economy is exactly the route to go but BO wants more and he wants it at the literal expense of we the taxpayers. By the way, Russia stated that socialism in the US is the "road to hell" and China is thinking about dumping the dollar. Both countries are calling for a one-world currency. Don't you find it absolutely stunning that these two axii of evil are making these rather conservative statements? Does BO get it? NO! He's arrogant: it's his way or the highway regardless the fact his "plan" will bring our nation to her knees.

God help America!

If you watched the town hall meeting, Obama basically said that the keys to fixing the economy is to improve healthcare, education, and energy.

It does make sense. I mentioned in another answer that Americans need to stop thinking they can just graduate high school (or drop out) and somehow find a full time job that pays a living wage. There is a SHORTAGE in this country of SKILLED MANUAL LABOR, as well as healthcare professionals. People need to stop complaining if they have little to offer the economy and start thinking about how to become recession-proof.

If you're a girl who normally works mindless reception and office jobs, then maybe it's time you think about IT training, or going into the medical field. Eventually you'll get let go or watch younger people with degrees get into promotions and you left behind.

If you're a guy who doesn't want to go to college for 4 years, then do 2 years in a trade school. Be an electrician, learn to lay networks down, learn something. Don't show up on the construction sites or factories begging for a job...especially if they tell you that you have no skills they need.

Many publications have spoken of what Obama has for years. We have a 19th century education system and we need it to be 21st century. This is why Europe and the Orient are kicking out butts. We need the system to be more about teaching children to think and reason, not just dates and facts. Let them grow and become more than they could be, and even get into fields where they can excel and later become valuable members of society who can't be easily outsourced.

Healthcare is another problem. If the US is spending billions on the old system that's not working, then we need to overhaul it to work better and cheaper. Some say to abolish it all, but I'll bet those are the ones who can easily afford healthcare. One big benefit companies have in Europe is that they don't have to offer healthcare because the country offers it. Everyone pays in some way, but in the end we all pay less somewhere else. However again, we have an antiquated system in place. Plus improvement also means more job openings.

Energy is the same deal. You heard him talk about a new electrical system, or pushing wind farms, cleaner vehicles, and even speed trains in some talks. Where do you think the labor will come from to build all that?

I agree that we can't keep trying to fight to keep jobs in the country that a company can easily take out for a very cheap price. If you pay someone $7 an hour to build an item that someone in Taiwan can build for $1 an hour, wouldn't you pack up and move?

Obama is basically building us a new economy off of the three things that we've been very weak in. You want to get a job, then I suggest you start looking to training and schooling to be one of the labor needed to build in those three areas, rather than wonder if your old outdated jobs will come back.

He knows he has to jam all this through as quickly as possible. People are going to catch on sooner or later.

Because the economic collapse in this country was orchestrated. Watch the Obama Deception on youtube. It's not just about Obama, it's about Bush and everyone else that is in the evil scheme to ruin the country so that they can usher in a one world government ruled by elites.

Because the cost of health care, energy, and education contribute to the economic problems we are facing. The FACT is, he could ignore them all, just as everyone else before him has done....and we could still rely on oil from the middle east, instead of new and cleaner energy sources and jobs within the US, we could still fail our children and not prepare them for future jobs that other students around the world are capable of doing after graduating, we could still have millions of uninsured people and children....but ALL of those problems directly contribute to our nation's failing growth and development. Further, the longer he puts ANY of those goals off, the more likely it is that both sides will be vying for reelection over doing what is right for this nation.
