Why can't Wal-mart or Walgrees read my disc with images?

I have two jpeg files on my disc. I'm not sure if it's not working because its on a DVD disc..that shouldn't matter right just because it has more space?

My computer reads that I have two files on here, but when I decide to pringt them at Wal-mart or Walgreens their system can't read my disc and says its empty!
 
I have found CD/DVD-R notoriously unreliable. Frustratingly so. The aluminum and dyes used in 'R' media begins oxidizing as soon as it is burned. I've had CD/DVD-R become unreadable in less than three months. Then there is the issue of compatible formatting between computers...yikes!

Instead, just transfer the two images to some sort of solid state media like an SD card or flash drive and they should be able to read the files then.
