the immigration debate? i am 3rd gen mexican american. A lot of my peers in high school and college were brought here ileagally by their parents. their parents have the option to go back to mex because they know mex. but these children who are essentally americans have no path. mexico is foriegn to them. and have no path here. they are not looking for a handout, they just want a path throug by serving military or by earning a college degree which a lot of them already have. these people should'nt even be in the same class as other immigrants. why not pass dream act because it is right thing to do and get some people to serve in military and get a income tax base from these college gratuates. they deserve priority in debate. they are already in the education system or completed their degrees. and just waiting on stand by for a path. it's a small minority compared to the whole immigration at large. the US already invested in them from grades 1-12, why not collect income tax from them. they are essentially americans. These are not the gardners, these are talented people who you or your kids went to high school and college with. they are stuck in between two countries. Pass the Dreamact. then seal the borders and do whatever is best solution for traditional immigrants. Oh, and hold the racist,unrealistic, illogical and inhumane answers" of seport everybody", not a valid nor moral solution retards.
