why can't people check their bad manners at the door?

Today, I had a trip to make
to check out lights and
floors
and when I came back on
I found a war
of words had dropped and sprayed..
casualties
on every front, what is the matter with you?
do all of you
you macho men
think none of us are fragile?
well, I have news
fragility is not the word for me
I may be weak
I may be small
I may be, quite oblique
... and maybe
even maybe
my slender bones might creak
... but I have sisters
I defend
I watch their backs
and won't pretend that
any man worth one small grain
of salt will stand
while one of mine is racked with pain
so stop your
war of words and think
before you make a great big stink
pffffffffft... I am a bit pithed.. and cranky
