why can't my iPod Touch save Photos?

When i open Safari on the iPod Touch, i go to any website with any image, tap and hold down to save image and then i go to my photos library and it's not there. i even tried power button and home button together option, not saved in my photos gallery. what should i do?

BTW i am on iPod Touch Second Generation 4.0 Jailbroken.
