Why can't my apple ipod touch connect with my laptop using bluetooth.?

I tried to connect my apple ipod touch to my computer using bluetooth. My computer is a laptop and yes it has an bluetooth card because i can connect with my mobile phone.
The error windows gives is that the bluetooth device is not compatible with windows vista... Any solution?
