I have always been frustrated by enhanced CD's if I want to play them using my PC. Winamp, Windows can't and I've had a couple of other programs that could play some over the years. Despite this, if I use iTunes simply to play the CD under devices, it works. Technology is obviously not the reason Winamp can't play them so is it a legal/proprietary/copyright "arrangement"?
Why can't media programs such as Winamp or Windows play enhanced CDs, but iTunes can?
