Why can't I sync videos to my MP4 on Windows Media Player 11?

When I try to sync any video to my MP4 using my laptop (Windows Vista), it tells me that the video is 'synchronising', and everything seems fine, except it never gets past 0% completion. I have no such trouble with music, it's just the videos. I've also tried synchronising the same videos on another computer (Windows XP) without any hassle. How can I fix this problem?
