I have searched Yahoo! Help and this forum, but cannot find anything that works. I have always been able to see in-line images and download attachments of all types and now suddenly I can't on my work computer. The OS is Vista. I have tried IE and Firefox and they both act the same. I tried my co-worker's Yahoo! e-mail account and it works fine on both IE and FF. Mine works on my home computer just fine as well.
This appears to me to be my account only on this computer, so it has to be my Yahoo! settings on this computer. It can't be the browser settings (which I have checked thoroughly for both IE and FF) or the anti-virus (which I uninstalled to make sure it wasn't the culprit). I also checked Windows Firewall and Security settings, but they would affect any Yahoo! account, not just mine. Adobe Reader, Flash and Shockwave are all up-to-date. Windows Event Viewer does not show anything that seems related.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am the IT guy for the company and I don't think anything that I installed has caused it. Especially since, another account works fine on the same computer. Crazy huh? I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere that I am not finding in Yahoo! Mail. (I am not blocking images in Options.)
