My parents' computer has the message "Warning: Spyware threat has been detected on your PC."
I have done as much as possible to try and remove the Spyware. I first ran a full system scan with Ad-aware Personal SE, then did a scan with SpyBot, then did another full system scan with Ad-aware 2007 Free (after upgrading from SE). I also upgraded by McAfee software to a newer version.
But with all these precautions and several restarts, there's still a spyware threat.... or at least the computer says so. Is there any more or I can do or do I need to reformat the computer (or actually, let the Geek Squad do their business)?
