Driving home, I turned on my radio to listen to some tunes. I couldn't hear anything except for a quick 3 second part of a song, then it went quiet. You could hear the music for those three seconds. Then it would cut off into silence for about 10-15 seconds, then you would here music for 3 seconds, and again it would cut off. It cuts off and comes back on, and when it comes back on its only for those brief seconds, and it also sounds very muffled.
It worked fine this morning! I tried to use CD's thinking maybe it was my radio, but also no luck. The CD's had the same issue. I tried pressing buttons and looking at my car manual and can't find anything. It's a Bose sound system, and my car is a '98 luxury Cadillac STS. Did the sound system break down?
I was thinking that, but I purchased the car in great condition. It didn't have that many miles on it at all, and the last user barely drove it. It was working completely fine this morning, in fact I've never had a problem with it! Does anyone know what the issue can be? Also, if it is broken how much would it be to fix something like this?! (Just any estimation you may have).
