I've been on 3 PAYG for the last few years and recently decided to change over to Orange. I have a Nokia 5230 which was bought from the 3 shop but I rang 3 to get it unlocked which cost £15. I've bought an Orange SIM and £10 top up and it works with the Orange name now being at the top of the screen but I can't access the internet as it always keeps trying to connect to 3 for access. Is there anyway I can change this or is it because of the phone I'm using ? Or does getting the phone unlocked by 3 mean they don't do the full service and totally reset your phone ? I'm going into the phone shops tomorrow if I can't sort this but any info would be great !
Why can't I get the internet on my unlocked phone ?
