I am a 23 years old and am trying to go back to college. The problem is I can't get any funding. I have lived on my own since I turned 18 (4+ years now) and support myself entirely. When I go to apply for funding it tells me that I am too young and says that since I have parents that didn't abandon me or give me up for adoption I do not meet the requirements. This isn't fair at all. My parents can't afford to put me through school and in my opinion, shouldn't be required to if i'm living on my own. Is there any other options or do I just have to wait it out? How is everyone else getting funding??
