why cant i download media go on my computer?

everytime i download it, it saves and then when i click the run button and after i select the language it starts to download then says

"Installing Microsoft Windows Media Format 11 Runtime
One or more features could not be installed. The installation has been stopped."
Click Cancel to exit.
 
when downloading dont click open, click save then open and run it from your computer, check for windows update more regular so windows installer is updated
 
It may not be compatible with how you are trying to save it. Try and save it to a different file or get real player sp or something like that.
