Why can't I change my Yahoo! Small Business domain A-Record?

When I go to add a new a-record to my domain that points to a different host server, it makes me put in a "source" for the new A-Record which essentially assigns a sub domain to the new record. I need to add an A-record the the root URL. Is there any reason I can't do this? Is Yahoo! forcing me to use their hosting?
 
Hey,
This may not help but I did read this. Geocities is going to be closing down at the end of the year. I have no idea why but they are. You should start looking for other hosts. I know Register.com is good, Go daddy is really good as well. :)
