You proably have bad bushings. When a starter doen't turn, after you use the battery cables then the bushings are bad. Or the brushings are bad. People think that when a starter doesn't turn the whole starter is no good. But if you take it apart, you have the brushes that are connected with copper wire (should be around four of them) that goes on the little motor and you have two bushings that are copper at the end of the starter (inside). The bushings are round like little barrels in the center of the top and in the center of the bottom.
