its a sylvania hdtv it has l and r audio input jacks but when i try to connect my stereo i cant hear anything...in the instruction booklet it says its for hdmi devices is it true is there a way plzzzzz help me
Input jacks are for getting audio signals into the TV, so that they can play through the TV speakers. If you want to get sound out of the TV, to play through an external amplifier, then your TV needs output jacks.
