Why can't Christians understand that God was made in the image of man?

A God who gets angry when you don't behave right. A God who lets you into his club if you do what he says.
These are all human characteristics.
And where is he these days anyway? He seemed to be so intensely involved in everyone's life 2000 years ago with all his flooding and arks, and punishment and well you all know I'm sure. But for the last 2000 years, we've heard or seen nothing.

Dana: Unconditional love? How does unconditional to love apply if you claim to love someone, but if they don't love you, you torture them for eternity? LOL!
 
Actually bro, hes been involved every day since, every breath you take is given by him, your overthinking it, you dont want to challenge him,
nor match wits with him, Join the everlasting life club by accepting
his gift to you of his son, being sent to die for your and my sins, you see hes perfect, so because we cant be perfect he sent his son as a sacrifice, to even the score and level the [laying field, so tht regular unholy folks like you and i would have a chance, Its a free gift, for all that belive but not easy, because you have to stop doubting, its easier
to belive than to just doubt, have faith my brotha, its real, its reallly real, some dont find that out until its too late,
