On my 16GB flash the option is there, and when I click format it tries to format as NTFS but fails every time, weather I use quick format or full format. I've tried on several different machines and they all fail to format as NTFS, when I try Fat32 it completes just fine.
What causes this? NTFS is just data that is written into the sectors like all other data, why would it not work? I bet if I had a 16GB Sector dump from someone else's flash and I used a hex program to write it to mine it would work.
*hint hint* if anyone has such a sector dump please feel free to post a link to it, it should compress very small if the sectors are all blank/wiped first
