Why can EVERYTHING in the world be debated but the Holocaust?

You can call God, Jesus anyone anything in the world, without facing political repercussions.

Even in the US, if you openly say you are a holocaust REVISIONIST, the media comes out and says you are a holocaust DENIER.

David Cole (a Jew converted to Atheist) was threatened with death by the JDL for his findings in Auschwitz, and for his interview with Dr Piper. He had to apologize to the Zionists for his findings, even know they were not refuted in any way. There are a bunch of other examples such as David Cole's.

If the Holocaust is indisputable, why do governments feel the need for brute force and not logic to overpower these claims? It seems as if the regimes are afraid to debate intellects like Chomsky, Finkelstein because they will be exposed. If there is nothing to hide, let there be free speech.

We DON'T argue a lot of facts, such as black slavery and stuff, but that does not mean we CAN'T argue them. We can have a differing view on a lot of issues and FACTS in everything in the world (except the holocaust), but will not face repercussions.
