Why aren't we hearing of price hikes in Health Care?

A study by auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for the insurance lobby warned that the bill before the committee would hike projected cost rises per family by $1,700 (£1,075) in four years, and by $4,000 in the next decade.

So much for FREE medical care.

Did anyone know that they are going to vote on the Bill today?

The liberal media will never say anything bad Obama's darling socialist program.

FOX News is the only network that has been willing to point out the potential negative impact this this health care bill could cause.

Free medical care?

edit/// I'm really wondering how free medical care idea came in to play here, do people still think the new government insurnace option will be free like medicaid?!

And on top of that, it will cost $1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) to even implement!

but the liberal philosophy is as long as there are taxpayers and a functioning printing press, we will never be out of money! ROFL

Oh, I know I am so convinced by a self-serving study issued by the insurance industry.

Yes, we know that the Senate Finance Committee is voting today -- interesting timing for the release of the insurance companies' study.

Interesting, because my private insurance has raised its premiums every year, and now my insurance costs me MORE THAN $1700 than it did 4 years ago.

So the insurance industry is simply saying the Congressional plan will do the same things they're doing?

Annually, my insurance costs over $14,000. That's just the premiums, and doesn't count my co-pays for office visits or prescriptions, or my deductible. Clearly, the private insurance companies don't want to lose that cash cow.

And, no one said "free" medical care. The plan is to provide a government option for insurance, for those who can't afford private insurance. People still have to pay for their insurance, and they still have to pay for their care.
