Why aren't there any songs about homo/gay/lesbian sexuality?

On the radio you always hear famous songs like Taylor Swifts Romantic love stories, and Jason Derulos songs about fantasies in his head with a chic....well what about the homo/gay/lesbian sexuality???? Are there any songs out there about something other than the opposite sex? And im not talking about Katy Perry's i kissed a girl...or any paradies...Genuine question here
