I bought some crickets from Petsmart because I'm doing a science fair project on them. The project about how crickets tell the temperature by counting their chirps, BUT THEY'RE NOT CHIRPING. I keep them in a little plastic cage in front of a window where it doesn't get too hot or too cold, and I feed them crushed up cat food. I know they must be healthy because it's been 4 days and none of the six have yet to die. So how can I get them to chirp????
