Jury Summons are sent out regular USPS, no proof of delivery so what if it gets lost in the mail and you are contempt of court for not turning up for dury duty???
If it was sent out regular USPS, and gets lost and I never receive it and I dont get a contempt of court then I guess anyone could theoretically throw away their jury summons and pretend they never received it?
I would never do that, but why dont the courts send it proof of delivery?
