Why are we importing so much CO2 from other planets if it’s bad for the environment?

Oh.. Wait.. You mean before my car spits it out into the environment… it all came from that same environment to begin with? So it’s not like new CO2, it’s the same carbon and oxygen that’s always been here? So… what’s the problem with “making” all this carbon?
